“The weather is unpredictable, and people’s fortunes can change in the blink of an eye.” Human beings are fragile by nature; one moment we’re basking in the sunshine, and the next we’re confined to a dim hospital room. Happy families are all alike, but every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.
On January 14, 2021, an accident left Huang Enxiu, an employee of Suizhou Longjishun Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., unconscious. She was immediately rushed to Suizhou Central Hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit due to the severity of her condition. Hospital tests revealed that her unconsciousness was caused by bleeding in the head, a comminuted fracture in his leg, multiple fractures throughout his body, and even the risk of paralysis. The exorbitant daily medical costs at the hospital have further compounded the financial hardship faced by Huang Enxiu’s family, who were already struggling financially. Huang Enxiu is known for his diligent and responsible work ethic and gets along very well with his colleagues. Upon learning of the situation, on the morning of January 20, the Suizhou Project Department of Shenzhen Longjishun Industrial Development Co., Ltd. issued a “Call for Donations to Support Huang Enxiu, the Critically Ill Sanitation Worker from Suixian County,” urging everyone to lend a helping hand and take concrete action to help Huang Enxiu overcome her difficulties.
Kindness is like a refreshing rain during a long drought or a ray of sunshine in the cold winter—it brings a deep sense of happiness and warmth. Acts of kindness are among the noblest deeds in the world and are deeply admired by all. The charity donation drive received an enthusiastic response from sanitation workers at Longjishun’s various projects in Suizhou, with everyone eagerly lending a helping hand. The event was filled with an outpouring of compassion, as company leaders and employees alike generously contributed, showing their care and concern and composing a beautiful symphony of love.
Kindness spreads warmth; though not family, they are closer than family. This fundraising effort raised a total of 11,610 yuan, which was delivered to Huang Enxiu’s daughter on the morning of January 24.
We firmly believe that even the smallest grains of soil, when gathered together, can form Mount Tai. Every small act of kindness will eventually flow into an ocean of love. Charity is rooted in genuine compassion, and love knows no bounds. We hope this small gesture of support will bring a glimmer of hope to Huang Enxiu’s family, and we wish for her to overcome her illness as soon as possible and return to a happy life.
