On July 23, 2026, the First Taiyuan City Xiaodian District Environmental Sanitation Workers’ Vocational Skills Competition, organized by the Xiaodian District Federation of Trade Unions and hosted by the District Urban Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Service Center, was grandly inaugurated. Key leaders, including Wang Baoding, Director of the Taiyuan City Urban Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Center; Guo Lihe, Deputy District Governor of Xiaodian District; and Li Chuntao, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Xiaodian District People’s Congress and Chair of the District Federation of Trade Unions, attended the opening ceremony in person to provide guidance.

The competition was organized in accordance with the standards of the Taiyuan City Sanitation Industry Waste Sorting Competition, bringing together sanitation workers from across the jurisdiction to compete on the same stage, with the aim of promoting learning through competition and strengthening their waste sorting skills. Our company sent a team to actively participate in the competition; they competed with great determination and won first place in the team event.

At the competition site, the Zhongxin Hang team members remained calm and composed, quickly identifying their waste categories and accurately taking their assigned positions. Upon the starting signal, all team members moved in unison and worked together to overcome the physical challenges posed by the spike-mat course, maintaining a tight formation as they charged forward at full speed. Thanks to their solid expertise in waste sorting and highly coordinated teamwork, the team surged ahead to cross the finish line first, successfully claiming the team championship title.

This competition served not only as a test of expertise in waste sorting but also as a platform to showcase the spirit and professionalism of the sanitation team. The awards are a recognition of the hard work of all participating team members and a powerful testament to the company’s ongoing efforts to conduct regular waste sorting training and continuously build a professional sanitation team.

Moving forward, Zhongxin Hang will use this skills competition as an opportunity to adhere to the principle of “using competitions to promote training, and using training to promote performance.” We will continue to organize frontline employees to study Taiyuan’s waste sorting regulations, conduct regular skills training, and continuously improve the precision of our sanitation operations. We will effectively channel the drive and determination fostered by the competition into our work, steadily advance the implementation of waste sorting in our jurisdiction, continuously optimize urban environment maintenance efforts, and contribute to urban environmental management in Xiaodian District.
