During the National Day holiday, more than 450 sanitation workers in Pingdi Subdistrict remained on the front lines, working hard as they crisscrossed the streets and alleys to help keep the city clean and tidy.
At 5:30 a.m. on October 1, a reporter arrived at the entrance to the Central Community on Hutian Road and observed sanitation workers sweeping the road surfaces, tree pits, and scattered trash, paper scraps, and fallen leaves within the community. On major roads throughout the city, street-sweeping trucks, flushing trucks, and water sprinkler trucks were simultaneously carrying out road cleaning operations.

According to reports, to ensure that residents enjoy a clean and tidy environment during the National Day holiday, sanitation workers in Pingdi Subdistrict have been working in shifts around the clock starting at 5 a.m. each day. They have intensified cleaning efforts on key road sections within the subdistrict and in areas with heavy foot traffic to ensure that trash is collected and removed daily. They have also increased the frequency of road sweeping and washing to create a clean and tidy environment for holiday travel.

We left home a little after 4:00 a.m. Our main responsibility is the Central Community area, and our job is to make sure the area is spotless.

While others are on vacation, we remain at our posts and do our jobs well.
