To carry forward the revolutionary legacy, promote the revolutionary spirit, and show care for revolutionary heroes, the Project Office of the Yujie Cultural Foundation’s Industrial Development Public Welfare Fund (Guangxi), in collaboration with Zhongxin Hang Enterprise and volunteers, traveled to Xincheng County, Guangxi, on August 30, 2023, to carry out the “Red Star Warms the Troops” public welfare campaign, to pay tribute to 43 heroes of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea and two heroes of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Xincheng County. A meeting was held in Conference Room No. 1 of the Xincheng County Party Committee. Attendees included: Qin Chenglin, advisor to the Sichuan Yujie Cultural Foundation’s Industrial Development Public Welfare Fund and former director of the Policy Research Office of the Autonomous Region Party Committee; Wu Bing, Vice President of the Guangxi Aesthetic Education Association and former Deputy County Magistrate of Yangshuo County; a representative of the Sichuan Yujie Cultural Foundation’s Industrial Development Public Welfare Fund; a representative of Zhongxin Hang (Shenzhen) Industrial Environment Group Co., Ltd.; Yang Wenbin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Xincheng County Party Committee and Director of the County People’s Armed Forces Department, representing the Sichuan Yujie Cultural Foundation’s ASEAN Volunteer Service Station; Wei Lihua, Director of the Office of the Xincheng County Leading Group for Supporting the Military and Caring for Veterans and Director of the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs; Fan Shaoguang, Party Group Secretary and Director of the County Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism; Fan Hedong, Party Group Secretary of the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs; nine representatives of veterans from the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea from Chengguan Town, Hongdu Town, Gupeng Town, and Xinxu Township in Xincheng County; and relevant personnel from the People’s Governments of Chengguan Town, Hongdu Town, Gupeng Town, and Xinxu Township in Xincheng County)

Visits and condolences bring warmth; sincere care expresses genuine affection. Conducting visits to veterans of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea carries forward the great spirit of that war and upholds the fine tradition of supporting the military in the new era. The battle flags are as beautiful as paintings, dyed with the blood of heroes. The spirit of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea—forged from the lives and blood of countless martyrs—is not only the source of victory in revolution and national construction but also the wellspring of strength for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We must consciously carry on this legacy and carry it forward.
